Dear Backers,
We’re still navigating many barriers in our overseas production operation, including raw material shortages, staffing challenges and production capacity constraints.
We’re definitely still here and working very hard to resolve these issues by year-end, so we can re-focus on final production and shipping during the first part of 2022.
Our team is grateful for your support and we will continue to work every day to get past these issues. And we will also continue to provide updates as the news changes (for the better).

Dear Backers,
While many have seemed to give up on us, we definitely have not given up, and we’re still working very hard to complete the Park & Diamond helmet.
We’re a small company and we’ve faced numerous supplier and manufacturing delays and issues, which much bigger and more established companies are also still wrestling with. This isn’t an excuse, just a fact, created by the current state of the world combined with all the typical obstacles facing young start-up companies who are manufacturing products overseas. Many have suggested we move our operation to the U.S. or another country, and while we’ve investigated this option, it’s just not a practical option at this late stage of our product’s development and final manufacturing process.
We can’t give backers a projected shipping date just yet, because we’re not sure right now, and we don’t want to continue disappointing our backers. Therefore, we ask you for a little more patience and we will continue to work every day to deliver your helmet.
As always, we greatly appreciate every one of our backers.

Dear Backers,
Sorry to say, we are not ready to ship helmets just yet. And since many Backers have requested address changes, we’ve Unlocked your Backerkit survey to allow you to make shipping address changes. Following are Instructions for Backers to self-edit their shipping address in Backerkit —
- Go to your Backerkit survey using the original URL link you were sent
- Once you are in your Survey, you will see a button in the upper right corner to "Edit Your Address"
- When you click that button you will find the "Edit Shipping Info" box on the left. You can then make any necessary shipping address edits and save your changes to finalize your update.
- If you need to change your shipping Country destination, you will need to send an email to: [email protected] (please include: CHANGE: SHIPPING COUNTRY in the email Subject line). Only send this email if your Country has changed, because only we can access the shipping Country tab. Each Backer is responsible for updating their own Shipping Address.

Hi Backers,
We’re still at it and haven’t gone anywhere, and we continue to work through final production details and on the global certification process.
We’ve sold the Park & Diamond helmet in over 100 countries and have designed it to pass a global certification standard (which our helmet has passed in independent lab testing). What that means is, we’ve taken into account all regions/country's safety standards and need to pass several different qualification standards before we begin shipping. This is not a smooth or easy final process. We will continue to work diligently through this and send another update once the global certification process is complete.
We also want to clarify a misunderstanding from a previous update regarding Backers opening a Shopify account — opening a Shopify account is Optional and at each Backer’s discretion. Also, there is no need immediate need to open a Shopify account until we send specific instructions (which we have not done yet). As stated in our previous update, the advantage of opening a Shopify account is to have a smoother and better shipping communication experience (once your helmet is shipped), but again, this is Optional for each Backer. Backers who decide not to open a P&D Shopify account will still get their shipping communication via their Indiegogo/Backerkit account (a less robust process).

Dear Backers,
Many of you have already seen and commented on a recent email you received asking you to lock in your final shipping address. This is the first important step, prior to beginning shipping. Once you lock in your shipping address, you will not be able to change your address or anything else related to your order.
This first step will take several days (up to a week) to allow all backers enough time to complete this step. Once this step is satisfactorily completed for all, we will send our next Update alerting you of a significant upgrade in our shipping/delivery communication process.
In order to improve the shipping/tracking communication process, we are migrating our customer information to Shopify, a more dynamic communication and shipping tracking tool. In our next Update, we will ask (and urge) each backer to create a Shopify account (specific sign-up instructions to come). When you sign-up for your Park & Diamond Shopify account, it will provide a much better order tracking and communication experience moving forward.
Park & Diamond is still committed to shipping helmets to all backers, with the initial shipments going to US-based backers who’ve ordered Medium/Black Helmets. Once we begin shipping and gain some production momentum, we will then communicate additional shipping groups (i.e. sizes, cap/skin colors, countries and timing).
Attached are photos from our factory, showing helmets being manufactured and helmet cores ready for final finishing/covering and testing (NOTE: the different colors in the core helmets are for internal inventory coding and control). Next steps are completing full assembly and packaging (as shown in the last Update video).
We continue to be grateful for your support and patience, as Park & Diamond fine-tunes and completes our production, testing, and upgraded communication shipping/tracking system.
